Pediatrics

As a parent nothing is more important than the health of your child so selecting your son or daughter’s physician can be a difficult decision.  Many parents prefer the familiarity and trust they have already established with their Family Medicine physician, especially in cases where the Family Medicine physician is also providing the prenatal care and delivery.

Our board certified Family Medicine physicians have been trained in a wide array of specialties which allows them to provide a medical home for patients of all ages, including infants and children.   We provide exceptional pediatric care. We are able to provide a convenient one-stop for your family’s yearly physicals as well as those trying times when everyone in your house has strep throat or the flu.

Comprehensive obstetric, newborn and pediatric services at InterMountain Medical Clinic include:

  • Prenatal visits and baby’s delivery
  • Mom’s wellness
  • Baby’s first years
  • Pediatric well visits
  • Immunizations
  • School and sports physicals
  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute/chronic diseases and injury
  • Lab/x-ray
  • Minor laceration repair
  • Wart freezing
  • No appointment necessary for acute visits
  • Emergency 24-hour on call service
  • Parenting support
  • Hospital care

We take the time to get to know you and your family. The result is an innovative, compassionate level of care at every visit.  Our approach promotes both physical and emotional wellness for patients of all ages. We understand the importance of easy access to care.  Our Urgent Care services provide quick access to physicians with no appointment required.

InterMountain Medical Clinic participates with the Idaho Immunization Program (IIP) to provide all children in Idaho free vaccines.   Part of IIP’s objective is to maintain an immunization registry so that there is one repository for your child’s immunization history, regardless of where the vaccine is given.  Please help us to keep your child’s immunizations and the registry up to date.   If your child is due for immunizations, call 238-1000 to schedule an appointment.   If you have moved or your child is receiving immunizations from another clinic, please let us know so that we can update his/her record.
